The transfer credit evaluation process takes 4-6 weeks on average, so results of the evaluation may not be available prior to a student's arrival and registration at the university. When complete, the transfer

credit report will be available online through Campus Connection under Student Center>My Academics. Students should use his/her claimed user ID and password to access this service. Undergraduate students transferring from colleges or universities should have a cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of 2.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale for most programs. Applicants to selective programs should click here for additional requirements. In order to be eligible for transfer credit, applicants must be accepted to NDSU and submit official transcripts and course descriptions with English translations (if applicable). The estimated amount of transfer credits an applicant may receive is not available prior to admission.

College-level coursework taken at an institution recognized by a specific country's Minister of Education or at regionally accredited U.S. institutions is eligible for transfer to NDSU. Depending on your chosen major, not all transferred courses are degree applicable.  Courses which transfer to the university, but do not apply toward your chosen program, will count toward the required general credit totals to earn a degree. A brief list of previously evaluated courses is available in the NDSU Transfer Course Equivalencies Database.
